PURPOSE: To reproduce the image data which is close to an original by converting image data which is not the same into the same image data when it is decided that the same image data does not continued for a prescribed number. CONSTITUTION: When an image data correction instruction is inputted, a CPU 1 automatically corrects the image data stored by an image memory 7. In this case, the CPU 1 recognizes that the first to the third image data are continuously white. When the CPU 1 recognizes the fourth image data as black, as a result of the analysis of the fourth image data, the CPU 1 decides that adjacent image data is not the same data for a scanning direction and decides whether blacks are continued by prescribed number N from the fourth image data or not. In this example, because the fourth and fifth image data are continuously black and the sixth image data is white, the CPU 1 decides that blacks are not continued for the prescribed number N. As a result, the CPU 1 changes the fourth and fifth image data into white. |
