PURPOSE: To provide a multimedia electronic conference system utilizing a computer network system. CONSTITUTION: Event data respectively generated at clients 11-13 are broadcasted to all the other clients 11-13 after data ID, sequence numbers, data types and time information or the like are added to them. The respective clients 11-13 receive the broadcast-transmitted data and according to the information added to them, conference data containing different and various data such as characters, graphics, sounds and animations are displayed/reproduced on a shared window in the order of events. Therefore, the operation such as a certain conference participant plots characters or graphics while speaking and the other participants listen to the contents of speaking while watching those plotted data and return answers while using characters, graphics or voices can be performed in real time. |
