<p>PURPOSE: To obtain strong brake force with a structure capable of reducing the cost. CONSTITUTION: A reel base 8 is so arranged that a friction member 41 is interposed between a reel mounting member 23 to be mounted with a reel and a reel base gear 31 to be rotatively driven by an idler gear 32, and the reel mounting member 23 has a cylinder part 23c and a toothed part 23d respectively on its outer circumference. A brake lever 51 has an arm part 51a to be always in press-contact with the cylinder part 23c and a pawl part 51b capable of engaging with and disengaging from the toothed part 23d, and at the time of rotating the reel base 8 in the direction of feeding a tape, the pawl part 51b is engaged with the toothed part 23d due to oscillation caused by follower action of the arm part 51a attending upon the rotation of the reel base 8. Since parts such as a spring, etc., which are separate bodies from the brake lever 51 can be discontinued while the reel mounting member 23 is directly fixed in interlocking with the rotation of the reel base 8, strong brake force can be obtained without depending upon a torque limiter.</p> |
