PURPOSE: To obtain aroma retention granules which reveal its excellent aroma retention capability, when they are added to confectionery such as chewing gum. CONSTITUTION: This aroma retention granule is prepared by allowing granules containing powdery cellulose to carry flavors, spices or seasonings. The granules are preferably 0.1-1mm in diameter and the granules involve powdery cellulose in an amount of >=30wt.%. In another embodiment, the granules may be coated with polyvinyl acetate or the like on their surfaces. |
