PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of the heat insulation performance of a vacuum container even in the case of storing cryogenic liquefied gas lower than liquefied natural gas and maintain its high heat-insulation performance, by enclosing a liquefied gas container, storing the cryogenic liquefied gas, with the vacuum container and an inert gas container with a gap left between one and another. CONSTITUTION: This cryostatic tank 10 comprises a liquefied gas container 12, vacuum container 14, and inert gas container 16. The liquefied gas container 12 has a hollow drum 12a which goes up, and it stores cryogenic liquefied gas 1. A heat-insulating material 13 is stuck to the entire external-surface of the liquefied gas container 12 situated inside the vacuum container 14, thus reducing an absorption of heat by radiation. The vacuum container 14 has an almost horizontal bottom 14a and encloses the liquefied gas container 12 with a gap left between them, and a vacuum is kept in the gap. Also, the inert gas container 16 encloses the vacuum container 14 with a gap left between them, and the gap is filled with an inert gas such as nitrogen. This makes it possible to maintain high heat-insulation performance. |
