PURPOSE: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery excellent in a charge/ discharge cycle characteristic to enhance safety with high discharge voltage and high capacity by adding organic acid alkali metal salt in at least one of a negative/positive electrode material and an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: In a nonaqueous secondary battery composed of nonaqueous electrolyte including a positive/negative electrode material and lithium salt, organic acid alkali metal salt is added in at least one of the negative/positive electrode material and an electrolyte. The organic acid alkali metal salt is preferably organic acid lithium salt. The organic acid alkali metal salt is preferably added to a negative or positive electrode sheet, with a content of this addition preferable about 0.01 to 5wt.% relating to the negative electrode material in the case of adding to a negative electrode. The negative electrode material is a material capable of storing/releasing a lithium ion, to list, for instance, a light metal, light metal alloy, carbon compound, inorganic oxide, etc. |
