PURPOSE: To suitably collect the rent of software by calling substitutive information charge collection service in the case of performing installation more than the prescribed number of times. CONSTITUTION: When the install to a hard disk device 5 is started by an instruction from a software user, first of all, a processor 1 reads a value showing the number of times of install in the past recorded in a flexible disk 7 according to a program for collecting the software rent and calculates a value showing the current number of times of install by adding '1' to the value showing the number of times of install in the past. Continuously, the processor 1 compares the value showing the current number of times of install with a value showing the number of times of starting the collection as the number of times of starting the collection of the software rent. When performing the install over the value showing the number of times of starting the collection, the software rent is collected by the substitutive information collection service. |
