<p>PURPOSE: To obtain such an image forming method that when a developer containing a toner of a small particle size and a large amt. of a fluidizing agent externally added to the toner is used to develope an image, the toner of a small particle size or the fluidizing agent remaining on the surface of a photoreceptor after transfer can be surely removed by bringing the edge of a cleaning blade into contact with the photoreceptor surface and that a high-difinition good image can be stably obtd. CONSTITUTION: The edge of a cleaning blade 28 is brought into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor 21 after transfer to remove a residual material such as a toner 4 remaining on the photoreceptor surface. In this method, a fluidizing agent 4a having 30-300m<2> /g BET specific surface area is externally added by 1.5-5wt.% to the toner having 4-9μm volume-average particle size. The fluidizing agent 4a is made to remain in a 20-100μm length range in the wedge-like resident area S formed between the cleaning blade 28 and the photoreceptor surface.</p> |
