FIELD: coke-chemical, oil-refining and electrode industries; precipitation hardening of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: electric furnace has housing inside which heating channel is located. Heating channel is formed by members made of conducting and nonconducting materials in form of hollow truncated cones, pyramids and spheroids whose large bases are connected with large bases and small bases are connected with small bases. Members forming the heating channel which are made in form of hollow truncated cones, pyramids and spheroids are alternating in different combinations from conducting and nonconducting materials. Besides that, bases of truncated cones, pyramids and spheroids are connected by means of intermediate members having form of ring, polygon or spheroid in section. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
