An optical recording CD (14) is located in frame having a base (2) with a guide slot (18) that receives an insert (6) with a projection (6a) that locates in the disc hole for accurate positioning. The edges of the base have two brackets on opposite sides each with holes (32a, 32b). Other projections (12) on a top frame engage the brackets and receive inserted lock pins to secure the assembly.
