<p>The invention concerns a boot-manufacturing process and in particular a process for assembling a front closure cover for the boot shell base and a boot produced in this way. The boot comprises a rigid shell base (2) which is produced with a sole (3) and of which an upper front region (2a), extending in correspondence with the top of the foot, has a longitudinal opening (6) closed by a front cover (5) secured at its base (5a) to the shell base (2). The process is characterized in that it comprises a step in which the front cover (5) is attached to the upper front region (2a) of the shell base (2) by connection means (10) which are accessible to all types of assembly means (11) both from the exterior (EXT) and from the interior (INT) of the shell base (2) along a rectilinear axis (XX') passing through the cover (5) in the vicinity of its base (5a), the shell base (2) in the vicinity of its longitudinal opening (6), the means (10) for interconnecting the latter parts, and the plane of the sole (3) by means of a temporary opening (12) therein.</p> |
