The brush has fixings (1) at either side for securing the brush to the wall, respectively provided with an electromechanical drive element (2) and a brush mounting (6), for supporting the cylindrical brush (7) for rotation about its longitudinal axis. The interior of the brush houses a conversion drive with a tumble motor, for combined rotation and reciprocation movement of the brush, with a contact switch for reversing the brush movement and the rotation direction.
