Control cable consisting of a non-ferrous metallic conductor of high electrical conductivity supported by a parallel continuous synthetic plastic yarn with a ratio of mechanical resistance/density greater than that of the conductor. Pref. conductor metal is Al, Cu or Ag. and plastic yarn is of nylon, terylene (RTM) or polypropylene.
