摘要 In the upper part 1 of the automated chamber for compressing waste there is a hydraulic press (or air press). The lower end of the piston 8 is linked to compression plate 7 which compresses the waste entering by the window 2. Having thrown in the waste and closed the window 2, compression is carried out automatically; the piston 8 then returns to its original position. There is a safety mechanism so that when the piston 8 is moving up and down the window 2 cannot open. There is automation so that when the selected degree of compression is achieved, an automatic indicator light 6 comes on to indicate that the chamber must be emptied. Operation is then interrupted, the window 2 does not open and service continues in an adjacent chamber since they will usually be installed in groups. In the lower part a special sack 5 is attached internally into which the compressed pieces of waste collect and will be sealed, airtight, having first opened the lower part 5. After installing a new sack and closing the lower part 5, the chamber is ready to operate again. The necessary height to collect the compressed packets is ensured either by a permanent support or by a hydraulic (or pneumatic) lifting system, which is set into operation when the indicator light 6 confirms that a chamber must be emptied. The above system and the other pistons are fed by a silent motor (or compressor).
