<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an auto-closure for a car that is manufacturable in simple structure. CONSTITUTION:An auto-closure for a car described herein is composed of a locking device main body 1 to be mounted to a door A side and a striker 2 to be fixed to a car body B side. The main body 1 is made up in a triple- structure that consists of a synthetic resin body 3 placed in the middle, a metallic cover plate 4 placed on the surface side and a metallic back plate 5 placed to the reverse side. A latch 7 for engagement with the striker 2 is supported with a pivot 8 in a recessed part 6 of the body 3 on a position between the upper and the lower parts of the recessed part. A sector lever 20 for putting the latch 7 in a full-locking position by operation of a motor 41 or the like that is made conductive with a contact 40 actuated when the latch 7 turns to its half-locking position is provided to a position near the latch 7. The pivot 8 is in such structure that is fixed to the metallic cover plate 4 and the 1metallic back plate 5 by caulking. A turning lever 37 that turns together with the latch 7 is fitted to the pivot 8, and the contact 40 is actuated by turning of the turning lever 37. A similar contact mechanism is provided to a pivot 19 of the sector lever 20.</p> |
