PURPOSE: To provide the video telephone system in which a function of a video movie and a function of a video telephone set by providing a camera turning motor, a turning amount detection sensor, and a motor drive circuit to the video telephone set recording and reproducing a video signal and an audio signal. CONSTITUTION: A home sensor 15 sensing an origin in both panning and tilt directions is provided. A panning motor 13 is driven via a panning motor drive section 14 in a direction of the panning home sensor 15 to detect a panning home position. The home position is used for a start point, the panning motor 13 is reversed, number of revolutions of a panning turning sensor 16 is counted and stopped when the count is coincident with a count up to a main body front side known in advance. The sensor 16 is made up of a sensor where a projecting marker provided to the turning section crosses a photo sensor to cause an ON/OFF signal. |
