<p>PURPOSE: To provide a display data conversion device which can consist of only a line memory without using any frame memory. CONSTITUTION: A display control means 1 can set the (n-dot×m-line) display data into the (k-dot×j-line) data (n×m=k×j is satisfied among n, m, k, j), and a conversion means 2 can divide the display data outputted from the means 1 into the luminance and chrominance signals. An interpolation/thinning means 7 performs a product-sum operation between a luminance signal 104 and a delayed luminance signal 106. At the same time, the means 7 can multiply the horizontal period of a single line by n/k and also can thin the number of lines down to a k/n multiple. Therefore, a memory of the means 7 can consist of a single line memory.</p> |
