<p>PURPOSE: To propose a method for preparing a molded item being lightweight, with strong strength, being convenient, with no pollution and destruction of environment and at low cost by using a easily available cement. CONSTITUTION: Soil (70-85wt.%), cement (15-30%), a thickener (1.5-5%) and water (25-40% of the total of the soil, the cement and the thickener) are mixed and kneaded out by means of a kneader. Then, before the raw material 1 is started to cure, it is molded by roll molding, press molding, etc., and a linen fabric 2 is sticked on one face or both faces of the surfaces of the raw material 1 to reinforce it. By adjusting compounding of raw materials such as the soil, the cement, water and the thickener, compression strength, viscosity, softness, etc., are fitted to the size and processability of the molded item. Therefore, as the cement being a main raw material can be available everywhere and various methods for molding can be utilized, the manufacturing is convenient. In addition, the molded item has a low specific gravity and the cost is inexpensive.</p> |
