MODEL ANIMAL FOR AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE: To obtain an autoimmune disease model animal useful for a morbid state investigation and the development of a treating agents by culturing a pathological lymphocyte derived from an autoimmune disease patient together with a T-lymphocyte activating material to obtain an activated T-lymphocyte and transferring the activated lymphocyte into an immunodeficiency model animal. CONSTITUTION: This autoimmune disease model animal such as an autoimmune disease model mouse having the symptom of a disease such as synovial membrane proliferation, fibrosis or phagedena in bone and cartrilage peculiar to serious autoimmune diseases is obtained by transferring an activated T- lymphocyte obtained by culturing a pathological T-lymphocyte such as a synovial T-lymphocyte (SFT) derived from an autoimmune disease patient such as RA patient together with a T-lymphocyte activating material as an autoantigen such as collagen type II (C II) capable of introducing autoimmunization which causes autoimmune diseases into an immunodeficiency model animal.
