PURPOSE: To solve the collection of the deforming force added to an electrode plate and reduce its curve by providing a pair of cut parts opposite to about the center part of either one frame bone of vertical frame bones on both lateral ends of a grid body and horizontal frame bones on both vertical ends thereof. CONSTITUTION: A grid body is formed of a circumferential frame 3 consisting of vertical frame bones 1 and horizontal frame bones 2, and vertical grid bones 4 and horizontal grid bones 5 more slender than the frame bone 3 which are mutually crossed lengthwise and crosswise, and an ear part 6 is integrally provided on the horizontal frame bone 2 on the upper side of the grid body. A pair of cut parts 7 opposed to about the center parts of the vertical frame bones 1 situated on both lateral end parts of the grid body, or a pair of cut parts 7 opposed to about the center parts of the horizontal frame bones 2 situated on both vertical ends are provided. Thus, at the use of a lead-acid battery, the collection of the deforming force added to an electrode plate which is resulted from the expansion of an active material or the corrosion of a grid bone can be solved to reduce the curve of the electrode plate. |
