PURPOSE: To obtain a photoreceptor which does not cause wear or damages of the surface or deterioration of the photosensitive layer due to fatigue with active species such as ozone, and thereby, to obtain a sharp image of high density in the repeated process of image forming for a long time. CONSTITUTION: In this electrophotographic photoreceptor 10, a photosensitive layer is formed on a conductive supporting body and contains a hindered phenol or hindered amine deriv. by 0.01-1.0 weight ratio to a charge transfer material. Moreover, a protective layer is formed on the photosensitive layer and it contains inorg. fine particles of 0.05-2.0μm volume average particle size. The electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 and a cleaning means such as an elastic blade cleaning means 221 are used in the electrophotographic device. In the device, at least the photoreceptor 10 and the cleaning means 221 are held together and can be attached and detached to the device main body.
