PURPOSE: To reduce the liquid level fluctuation, to prevent the mixture of bubble with ink and to prevent the movement of the center of gravity of a cartridge by placing a liquid level fluctuation preventing member having smaller specific gravity than that of the ink on the liquid surface of the ink filled in a case. CONSTITUTION: A liquid level fluctuation preventing member 1 having lower specific gravity than that of ink is placed on the liquid surface of the ink 3 in the case 2 of an ink cartridge. The member 1 is provided to suppress the fluctuation of the ink liquid level generated when the cartridge is moved to prevent the mixture of bubble with the ink, and a sheet is, for example, used. Guides 5 are provided at the sides of the case 2, the slits 6 opened at the sides of the sheet 1 are combined with the case 2 to match the guides 5 to restrict the movement. As a result, the fluctuations of the ink level is converted to small vibration to be received by the entire surface of the sheet 1 to eliminate the liquid level fluctuations, thereby preventing the mixture of the bubble. |
