PURPOSE: To excellently fix an image on a copying paper by uniformizing temperature distribution on the surface of a heating roll. CONSTITUTION: This fixing device of an image forming device is provided with the heating roll 1, a pressure roll and at least two lamps 2 and 3 whose heat generating distribution are different from each other in the inside of the roll 1. Besides, the device is provided with temperature detection sensors 4 and 5 on the surface of the roll 2 corresponding to the parts where the heat generation of the respective lamps 2 and 3 in the axial direction are large. Moreover, the device is provided with an electric power control circuit 7 variably controlling the quantity of electric power supplied to two lamps 2 and 3 based on the detected result of temperature by two sensors 4 and 5. |
