PURPOSE: To provide a terminal equipment capable of processing a data copyright digital cache and video conference system data. CONSTITUTION: This data copyright managing device is provided with a CPU 16, a ROM 18, an EEPROM 31, and a RAM 19, the ROM 18, the EEPROM 31 and the RAM 19 are connected to a local bus 17 connected to the CPU 16 and a system bus 22 connected to the device for utilizing data can be connected also to the bus 17. The ROM 18 stores a data copyright managing system program, cipher algorithm and user information and the EEPROM 31 stores a 2nd exclusive key, an application permission key, a 2nd secret key, and copyright information, and at the time of driving the device, a 1st disclosed key, a 1st exclusive key, a 2nd disclosed key, and a 1st secret key are transferred to the RAM 19. A monolithic or hybrid IC, a thin IC card having an exclusive terminal, a PC card, and an inserting board can be adopted as the format of the device and the device can be built in a computer device, a television receiver, a set top box, a digital video tape recorder, a digital video disk recorder, a digital audio tape device, a portable terminal equipment, or the like. |
