PURPOSE: To extend the service area, to improve the speech quality, and to reduce the base station construction cost and the running cost by using a superconducting coaxial cable as a countermeasure against the blind zone of a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A transmission equipment 2 connected to an exchange by a network, a transmission/reception equipment 3, and an amplifier 4 are stored in a master base station 1, and an antenna 51 is installed in the amplifier 4. An antenna 52 as a countermeasure against the blind zone is connected to the amplifier 4 through a superconducting coaxial cable 7 cooled by a cooler 6. Control and speech line data transmitted/received through the network by the transmission equipment 2 is modulated/demodulated by the transmission/ reception equipment 3 and is communicated with a terminal 82 by the antenna 51 arranged in a cell constitution through the amplifier 4. It is transmitted to the antenna 52 , which is installed in the blind zone, as an electric signal free from loss by the superconducting coaxial cable 7 and is communicated with a peripheral terminal 82 .
