PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity, superior in desilverability, free from uneven density in an image, superior in color development performance and sharpness and stably enhanced in image quality. CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least each one of blue-, green-, and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a support and a silver halide emulsion in at least one silver halide layer contains >=90mol% silver chloride and flat silver halide grains amounting to >=50% of the total projection areas having an aspect ratio of >=3.0, and the total gelatin coated amount is <=7.0g/m<2> . At least one white reflective layer is formed on the emulsion layer side of the support and a central plane average roughness (SRa) on the surface of the emulsion layer side is controlled to <=0.1μm.
