<p>PURPOSE: To perform retrieval and display preferentially according to the frequencies of retrieval by updating and registering the frequencies of retrieval by brands when a brand is retrieved on a terminal side and displaying the brands according to the frequencies of retrieval when the brand is retrieved. CONSTITUTION: A computer center 1 sends out certificate information, for example, data, etc., for dealing operation such as stock market prices, article market prices, bond market prices, exchange rates, enterprise information, and news through a communication line 11. A terminal device 2 consists of a control part 3, a display device 9, and an input device 10. A retrieval frequency table area is provided as part of a storage device 7 and the frequencies of retrieval by brand codes are registered in the area; when a brand is retrieved, the brands are displayed on a display device 9 in the order of the frequencies of retrieval which are registered by past retrieval. The frequencies of retrieval are the frequencies of retrieval by terminal users themselves and the table is reset at intervals of, for example, one day which is at least a period worth making good use of the frequencies of retrieval.</p> |
