PEN INPUT TYPE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: To improve an operability storing a locus of an inputted gesture and a command in cross reference and executing the command corresponding to the gesture selected from sets of gesture displayed again onto an operation object. CONSTITUTION: In the electronic device provided with an input section 1 inputting locus data and a gesture recognition section 4 recognizing the locus inputted by the input section 1 as a gesture and a converting the gesture into a corresponding command, a locus data management section 6 stores locus data inputted in the past and command obtained through recognition and conversion by the gesture recognition section 4 when the locus data are inputted. Then a display control section 3 displays and manages the inputted locus data and the locus data inputted in the past. When the operator selects a desired gesture among sets of gesture displayed again by a display section 2 and specifies an operation object, a command execution control section 5 executes the command corresponding tot the selected command onto the specified operation object.
