Punch plate with backing plate

A grooved punch plate (1), consisting of a flat base-plate with cut slits (2), is joined at its back face (1') to a backing plate (4). The base-plate consists of through-hardened or surface hardened sheet steel or special steel plastic or ceramic and is joined to a backing plate (4) of sheet steel, stainless steel, plastics or laminated paper by (diffusion) welding, screwing, brazing or adhesive bonding, pref. with one or two-component cold or hot melt adhesive or an adhesive foil.
