PURPOSE: To provide a delivery catheter of exclusive use for small outer diameter by fixing a tubular member on a backward side at an interval from the rear end of the head tip provided with a recessed part, and forming a stent housing part between an outer tube and the backward part of the head tip and a central shaft member. CONSTITUTION: Firstly, two hubs 13, 14 are fittedly fixed, and an expanded stent 11 in a free condition is moved from a head tip 6 side to an opening part 12 between the rear end of the head tip 6 and the head end of an outer tube 5, and is pressed and reduced toward the radius direction to be housed In a recessed part 7 and a stent housing part 8. Secondly, a catheter 1 is inserted into blood vessel of a patient, a head part thereof is positioned on an adequate position of an affected part whose stenosis part is expanded beforehand, and the stent 11 housed in the backward side recessed part 7 of the head tip 6 is released to be expanded into an original size when the inner tube 4 is pressed with the outer tube 5 fixed. Successively, the stent 11 in the stent housing part 8 is sequentially released and attachedly-placed inside blood vessel when the outer tube 5 is gradually retreated. |
