<p>PURPOSE: To provide a wet type flue gas desulfurizer which maintains desulfurizing performance and dust removing performance constant, even though an exhaust gas condition is changed at the time of change in load, etc., and also performs an economical operation. CONSTITUTION: A small circulation pump 9 having a capacity smaller than that of a circulation pump 6 of an absorption tower 2 is installed and the absorption liquid slurry is supplied to each spray stage 7 by this small circulation pump 9 via a valve 10.
