<p>PURPOSE: To effectively remove harmful substances and also to lessen the concentration of harmful substances in water from water strippers and to increase the quantity of water reusable as washing water by using water strippers for evaporating harmful substances in washing water. CONSTITUTION: A crude gasified gas 1 enters a dust collector 3 where dust therein is caught by washing water and removed, and the washing water after dust removal enters the 1st water stripper 6 through a washing water discharge line 5, and a part of it is evaporated there. On the other hand, after the gas 1 from which dust has been removed is cooled by a gas cooler 4, it is purified through a downstream process. In the gas cooler 4, since the gas 1 is cooled, moisture in the gas 1 or the like is condensed, and this condensate enters the 2nd water stripper 17. Steam delivered through a steam line 10 from the 1st water stripper 6 is introduced into the 2nd water stripper 17 to evaporate a part of water. In this way, the quantity of gas to an off gas treating device and the quantity fo moisture in gas are reduced, and also the quantity of heat in the 2nd water stripper 17 is reduced.</p> |
