PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily construct stairs having excellent abrasion and wear resistance when the stairs are used and to enable the control of noises occurring in the time of using. CONSTITUTION: A cut string joint member 13 is held by a tread lower board 1 of an L-shape material forming the tread lower board 1 and a riser 4, and a tread upper board 6 is connected thereto to form a metal frame. Then, a hollow section of the metal frame is filled with an inorganic filler to solidify, a tread basic body 10 is formed, and stairs 16 are manufactured. The tread of stairs 16 is a three layer construction with the basic body 10 fixing the lower board 1 and upper board 6 thereto. The stairs 16 are arranged in the shape of a stair as well as the conventional way, and they are fixed to cut strings 20 to form steel framed stairs. |
