PURPOSE: To enable a laser beam welding while holding a baggy work by inserting a first work and a second work having a prescribed opening hole between an outer patch and an inner patch driven in a direction mutually approached and pressing. CONSTITUTION: A rea fender 91 of the first work arranging a through-hole 93 in the inside panel 91B of a car body and formed as a baggy cross section and a loop panel 90 of the second work formed as a plate-state are piled in a groove part 92 to execute a laser welding. A through-hole 2A arranged to the outer patch 2 guides a laser welding nozzle 7 onto a prescribed welding line. Further, a guide plate 20 for regulating the displacement of the laser nozzle 7 toward the groove part 92, is fixed to a prescribed distance from the bottom part 92A. In the guide plate 20, a guide hole 21 for guiding the laser welding nozzle 7 is formed on the welding line, and at the inlet of the guide hole 21, a tapered part 22 for guiding the tip part of the laser welding nozzle 7 is formed. By this constitution, the good quality can be secured by surely holding the work. |
