PURPOSE: To provide a writing utensil, in which the dripping of ink from a pen wick or the like is prevented from occurring and, at the same time, the pen wick is prevented from drying when its cap is put. CONSTITUTION: In a writing utensil A equipped with a cap 20 detachable from a tip shaft 13 forming some part of the shaft tube of a writing utensil main body 10 and, at the same time, with an air hole for displacing air except the periphery of a pen wick 14 provided at the tip part of the tip shaft 13, the cap 20 is equipped with a first sealing part 25 for cutting off the periphery of the pen wick 14 and the opening part 16a of the air hole from each other and with a second sealing part 26 for cutting off the opening part 16a of the air hole from each other. |
