FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in fabrication of parts for fountain equipment for oil- and-gas-production industry, in order to strengthen surface of machine parts employing environmentally pure technologies, one determines critical rate of diffusion layer hardening to select a hardening medium for hardening parts, nitrocementation of parts at an appropriate temperature with loading triethanolamine into furnace, and hardening of parts followed by low tempering. Method eliminates high temperatures (higher than 900 C), retains viscous core, and confers high hardiness and wear resistance to sufficiently deep diffusion layer. EFFECT: strengthened machine parts. |
