The method initially displays a small sized and distinct screen with power on, gradually enlarges the screen size to a normal state and gradually reduces the size with power off. The method comprises a 1st step of detecting the on/off state of the power key; a 2nd step of storing a zoom motor data, a brightness data and a contrast data in a register if the power key is in off state; a 3rd step of reducing the screen size by reducing the current zoom motor data to a minimum value, and switching the power off; a 4th step of initializing the register to minimize the zoom motor data, and switching the power on if the power key is in on state; a 5th state of increasing the zoom motor data.
