The invention relates to a catalyst pipe for an endothermal catalytic reaction of a process medium, with an outer casing pipe (1) with its faces sealed by a first (2) and a second base (3). Inside the casing pipe there is an ascending tube device which is connected near the first base to an outwardly directed line (4) for the product resulting from the catalysis of the process medium. According to the invention, the ascending tube device takes the form of a plurality of tube bunches (10) ending in a manifold (13) connected to the outlet (4) for the product.
