Described is a device (10) for padding corners of e.g. equipment housings, the device having two arms (11, 12) joined to each other at an angle plus cheeks (17, 18) fitted to the outside of the arms. To enable a device of this kind to be used in a variety of applications, i.e. over a range of housing sizes, and still remain firmly in place, the invention calls for each arm (11, 12) to have a honeycomb-like structure designed so that it can be stretched in the lateral direction.
