The invention relates to a cover member (1) for an object protruding from a ground surface (2), for instance a tent peg (3), provided with a hollow body (4) which is open on one side (5) and forms a space (6) for receiving the protruding object (27) and which has connecting means (7) for co-action with the protruding object (27). The danger of injury through contact with the protruding object (27) is reduced with such a cover member (1). The connecting means (7) can comprise a bottom part (8) closing off the open side (5) and having a passage opening (9), the form of which corresponds with the sectional form of the protruding object (27). |
