PURPOSE: To provide a motor device which can reduce the energy loss of a motor with a mechanical structure by reducing the overcurrent and loss which occurs when the motor is rotated at a zero or low speed under a high torque condition without controlling the power supply voltage to the motor while the excellent torque and number-of-revolution characteristics of the motor are maintained and can continuously operate the motor at the same torque even when the rotation of the motor is stopped by an external load or the motor is rotated in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION: A motor device is provided with a first motor 1, a second motor 3, and a differential gear 2 and the differential gear 2 has three rotating shafts which rotate differentially and are respectively connected to the rotating shafts of the motors 1 and 3 and driving output shaft. One motor 1 or 3 is operated as a drive motor and the other motor 3 or 1 is operated as a generator. The motors 1 and 3 are rotated in the opposite directions and the differential output of the motors 1 and 3 becomes the output or input of an external machine. |
