PURPOSE: To reduce the number of component parts of a selective circuit breaker for d.c. power supplies operated in parallel, using MOS-FETs as control means, facilitate the assembly of the circuit, enhance it reliability, and reduce the cost of the parts. CONSTITUTION: This invention relates to selective circuit breakers 2A, 2B for d.c. power supplies operated in parallel, constituted as follows: A MOS-FET 9 is connected to the output of each of the d.c. power supplies 2a, 2b connected in parallel so that the MOS-FETs 9 are turned on/off according to the magnitude of the output current of the respective d.c. power supplied 2a, 2b. If the output current of one power supply is below a specified value, the MOS-FET 9 in the other power supply is turned off to prevent the reverse current from the other power supplies or the like from flowing in. A secondary winding 32 for control is placed in the output conversion transformer 3 for each of the d.c. power supplies 2a, 2b so that on/off signals for the gate and source of the MOS-FETs 9 are provided from the secondary winding 32 for control. |
