<p>PURPOSE: To assuredly control air-fuel ratio by correcting predicted filling air amount not only by valve opening/closing timing, but also by intake air amount. CONSTITUTION: Intake air amount detected by an airflow meter 107 is compensated by an internal combustion engine speed and a throttle valve opening, so that filling air amount in a combustion chamber 104 when engine valves 102, 103 are closed, is predicted. This predicted filling air amount is compensated to be larger if valve overlap amount adjusted by a VVT 114 is large and to be smaller if intake air amount is large, so that the predicted accuracy of the filling air amount can be improved even when a VVT function is equipped with this device. Further, fuel injection amount is determined on the basis of this compensated filling air amount, so that fuel injection amount can be also assuredly determined.</p> |
