<p>PURPOSE: To register and use a P icon which is easy to be understood by a user by the user himself. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a PRT ICON registration tool 11 which is capable of registering a standard P icon and the P icon that a user designs, an external storage device 3 storing the registered information, a printer command processing part 13 notifying the state of a printer 2 to a host computer 1, a display device 14 provided on the host computer 1 and a PRT state display 10 making the P icon be displayed on the display device 14 in accordance with the printer state notified from the printer command processing part 13 in accordance with the information of the external storage device 3.</p> |
