摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To improve workability for sealing a clearance in a construction field by spirally winding soft plastic foam band-shaped object with specific hardness and specific density on the circumference of a circular structure and inserting it into a cylindrical object when its winding diameter exceeds an inside diameter of the cylindrical object. CONSTITUTION: When an inlet clearance between an external pipe 2 and a cable 3 is sealed, a reactive type silicon caulking compound 16 is applied onto the cable 3 adjacent to a cut opening of the external pipe 2 connected a manhole side wall 1a. Subsequently, a rubber or soft plastic foam band-shaped object 14 with hardness of 60 or less and density of 0.8g/cm<3> or less, in which a double face adhesive tape 15 adheres to one side, is spirally wound around the cable 3 on which the silicon caulking 16 is applied. In this process, the band-shaped object 14 is wound while overlapping partially according to necessity until its winding diameter exceeds the inside diameter of the external pipe 2. Subsequently, the wound body of the band-shaped object 14 is inserted into the inside of the external pipe 2, so that a clearance between the cable 3 and the inside of the external pipe 2 is sealed.</p>
