PURPOSE: To easily form a desired pattern on a molded article by a method wherein transparent or semitransparent molding material is poured in a mold, in which core material with the surface pasted with a plurality of patterning sheets is set, and then hardened under heat. CONSTITUTION: Laminate 2 made of patterning sheets are cut in the direction crossing the laminating surface so as to produce patterning sheet having the laminating pattern on the cut surface in order to paste onto the surface of core material 4 through adhesive. Next, a mold 5 consists of a top mold made as a cavity 5a and a bottom mold made as a core 5b. On the molding surface of the core surface 5b of the mold 5, transparent gelcoat layer 10 is provided. Next, the core material 4, onto which the patterning sheets 3 are pasted, is fitted in the cavity 5a and further the core 5b is fitted in the inside of the core material 4 so as to be assembled in the mold 5. Next, transparent or semitransparent molding material 6 is poured in the mold 5 so as to fill the gap made between the surface of the core material 4 and the gelcoat layer 10 on the surface of the core 5b in order to feed the molding material 6 on the surface side of the core material 4 for hardening the molding material under heat. |
