PURPOSE: To develop a label or a base material for the label and an ink by a thermal transfer pattern formation wherein the label can be issued as circumstances demand, a thermal transfer pattern has excellent heat resistance and solvent resistance, and the given pattern can be retained excellently even when it undergoes heat treatment, solvent cleaning treatment, and wiping processing. CONSTITUTION: On an ink acceptor layer of a label base material 1 having the ink acceptor layer which contains, as a film forming component, a thermoplastic polyether imide having a heat deformation temperature of 150-300 deg.C, a thermal transfer pattern 2 consisting of an ink which contains a thermoplastic polyether imide having a heat deformation temperature of 150-300 deg.C and a colorant as components is provided. Thus, a necessary label can be issued any time and a covering tape layer is not necessary on the ink pattern. It can be used for control of merchandise which requires heating and solvent treatment in the mounting process of a printed circuit board. |
