PURPOSE: To provide a light source device with a cooling mechanism, which can efficiently cool a light source lamp and the end of an optical fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION: A heat absorbing plate 3 is arranged between a light source device 1 and the light incidence end 2 of an optical fiber bundle, and a cooling fan 4 for cooling the light incidence end of the optical fiber bundle and an axial flow fan 6 with a control plate 5, which can directly blow the cooling air to a light source lamp of the light source device 1, are provided. In this light source with a cooling function, the axial flow fan 6 is arranged in the periphery side of the front end of a reflecting mirror 7 of the light source device 1. |
