PURPOSE: To provide a cored wire for welding free from welding defects even in the welding of high strength rails such as heat-treated rails or alloy steel rails, and capable of obtaining a satisfactory joint performance. CONSTITUTION: This core wire contains 1.1-1.5% C, 0.05-1.1% Si and 0.3-1.6% Mn, further if necessary, contains one or two more kinds of 0.05-1.3% Cr, 0.05-2.0% Ni, 0.01-0.3% Mo, 0.01-0.3% V, 0.01-0.1% Nb and 0.05-0.3% Cu. |
