PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BARIUM TITANATE

The barium titanate is prepared by (a) dropping the mixture of barium nitrate and titanium oxynitride in oxalic acid aqueous solution with stirring, (b) drying the product precipitate and adding ammonia to the dried crystalline titanyl barium oxalate to be 8-10 of pH, (c) filtering and washing it with alcohol, (d) pyrolysis of the washed noncrystalline titanyl barium oxalate with conventional method.
